      The end of Hannah Montana

Hannah Montana Forever is the final season of Hannah Montana and this soundtrack contains all the music from the series. It touched a nerve when listening to this Album because I have been watching the show from day 1 and even though I kind of drifted off in the middle as I got older I still had some good times watching the show. I always like the show but I was never keen on the music but with this album I did actually enjoy it.

      Track Listing

      1. "Gonna Get This" (featuring Iyaz)
      2. "Que Sera"
      3. "Ordinary Girl"
      4. "Kiss It Goodbye"
      5. "I'll Always Remember You"
      6. "Need a Little Love" (featuring Sheryl Crow)
      7. "Are You Ready"
      8. "Love That Lets Go" (featuring Billy Ray Cyrus)
      9. "I'm Still Good"
      10. "Been Here All Along"
      11. "Barefoot Cinderella"

      My Thoughts

Since I kept up with season 4 I knew all the song before I even got the album so knew exactly what to expect. With this I think it's all about her growing up and looking to the future and this is evident in the lyrics spoken in some of the songs on the album. Although it shows she is growing up she still has songs of that old Hannah Montana feel.
The songs that I felt where more mature and showed that she was growing up were Ordinary Girl, Love That let's Go and Been Here All Along all songs of which are about deeper things that the average Hannah Montana song. These all being ballads and talking about different situations in life. In the case of ordinary girl speaking of herself saying she may be a celebrity but she wants to have a normal life and does normal things that regular people do. In the case of Love that lets go the song is about even though you will really miss something it's healthier to move on a let go and remember the good times. This song refers to her horse blue jeans in the show and her real horse that eventually couldn't stand up anymore. Been here all along is a tribute song to all those families that are split because someone is away weather it be in the army or other reasons. It speaks about about always being there even if it's not physically.
These songs show that Miley /Hannah Montana has moved a long way since the first series and with the song I'll Always remember you she clearly shows that the show is over just by the passion in the way she sings the song. Vocally all these songs are sung to perfection from Miley. I do think they are kind of sad songs and you can tell that Miley almost seems to old for the Hannah Montana now. These songs also have a way of making you think about things.

This album definitely shows the begin of the end for Hannah Montana but is sure didn't get rid of Hannah completely. Various songs on the Album are the old hip, pop style typical Hannah Montana songs. The songs such as Que Sera, Kiss It Goodbye, Are You Ready, I'm Still Good and Barefoot Cinderella. So you could say more than half the album gives Hannah Montana fans some more songs to dance too and sing along. I thought this was good because I know it's the last album but it doesn't all need to be about saying goodbye.
Gonna Get This featuring Iyaz is probably my favourite song off the album just because it is so different from all the usual Hannah Montana songs. The song is a bit of a cheesy pop song but is has a nice beat and the iyaz touch makes it seems like a bit of a more grown up song.

Overall I think the album is a good album. I would say that the album is certainly not as up beat as the previous Hannah Montana albums and it is evident that Miley did try to change a portray a more mature Hannah Montana. I think it worked well and the album is a good listen. I think that you can certainly tell this was the end because of how many sort or goodbye style songs the album featured. The album is available for 7.99 on iTunes which I think is a little pricey for this. On Amazon A CD copy is available from 2.98 which is a better price.
