This 2001 CD reissue of the Hanx LP (originally released in 1980 on Chrysalis records) is a compilation of live songs, plus extra tracks and interview, by Belfast punk band Stiff Little Fingers. Stiff Little Fingers were a punk band, formed in 1977 in Belfast. There first single 'Suspect Device' was released on their own Rigid Digit record label and was a big success and led to a deal with Rough Trade records, and later with the major label Chrysalis. The band, fronted by vocalist Jake Burns were a band of two personas. You had the socio political angst ridden barking vocal and by contrast a smooth soppy crooning vocal on other songs. One ...
