... points of view across is a noble topic and one associated with the more alternative genre of music. I think it is a good opening track as it sets the tone for what is to come on the album but does have some more synth like influences which aren't always present on the album. Marks out of 10: 8 - a good opener but not one of their best ever tracks. Such a shame there was a really cheap looking promo video to promote it! Raine sounded a bit 'stuffy' at some points on the chorus which I think took away a little bit from ...more

As many of you can perhaps tell, music is one of my main passions in life; I simply love finding out about a variety of different artists, both new and old, in hope of broadening my once narrow tastes. Our Lady Peace were another band from across the pond which I discovered by watching WWE programming. Romantic, huh? Anyway, the first track that I'd ever heard of by them was a song called 'Whatever', which you can only purchase via the Live CD and DVD. Being extremely impressed with their angry guitars and drum beats alike, I was also fascinated by their lead singer's lunatic like vocals; they were certainly not anything like you'd hear on the commercial radio ...

Our Lady Peace's "Happiness is not a fish that you can catch" Album is a fantastic album to buy and these are the reasons why, broken down into a song by song review. OLP are an alternative rock band originating from Toronto, and like so few of their contemporary's they sound fresh. A merge of heavy sounding guitars and a voice capable of sounding paranoid but also in control. Not quite mainstream music, but yet also not too far away from it to make it sound outlandish. Track listing 1. One Man Army 2. Happiness And The Fish 3. Potato Girl 4. Blister 5. Is Anybody Home 6. Waited 7. Thief 8. Lying Awake ...

I first stumbled across Canadian rockers, Our Lady Peace, when I went to see the Stereophonics live at the NIA in Birmingham. I have to say they put the rather dull Stereophonics to shame and made me feel that my ticket had been worth buying. Stylistically they can be thrown in the wide style bucket that holds bands like Nirvana, Everclear and the Foo Fighters. They?re not all straight forward grunge-o-rock though, there are hints of intricate Led Zeppelin moments along with a few that nod at Jeff Buckley. However, I?m not the most experienced of Our Lady Peace fans. I?ve got a couple of videos I downloaded, a smattering of mp3?s as well as my memories of them ...

A 'New' CD from a great UK band Predominantly badly recorded demo tracks, a poor compilation of material

Catchy, likeable, fun, good mix Couple of weak links

Over 60% Of The Album. The Fillers.

Joy Division aren't around any longer, but their excellent legacy remains and this is a good intro compilation I honestly can't think of one, unless you don't like Joy Division

good to make these songs known by a wider public waste of money for Oasis fans who've got all the singles

Suitable for the skater generation No complaints here
