Absolute Greatest - Queen ... m slightly cheating here for this review, no, unlike some reviews on this site, I have held the product in my hand and I have actually used it. I got the CD for one of my friends for Christmas, and before wrapping it up, I decided to sneakily put it on my ITunes. I am so glad I am now as this album has all of my favourites. I m not going to write a lot of fact about Queen here, it s a waste of time, if you want to know who Queen are and more about them, then check out Wiki for it. 1987 - Whitesnake ... album by Whitesnake always sticks out in my mind and the production is fantastic and of course of the 80s big rock sound. I am a big fan of the heavy metal guitar sound and on this album John Sykes plays some amazing guitar all throughout the album. If you are into good old fashioned shredding guitar solos, you will love this album, but Sykes plays with great feeling too and I personally love technical ability intertwined with felt passion and sustained notes. The guitar solo on Crying in the Rain is a phenomenal masterpiece. Of course, I am being a bit single-minded on the guitar playing on this album and mustn t forget David Coverdale s amazing vocal presence ... Suicide Season - Bring Me the Horizon ... Season is the second album from Bring me the Horizon and consists of 10 tracks. In the past, Bring me the Horizon have had a lot thrown against them which has dented their reputation greatly, biggest of which was the court case against Oli Sykes (lead vocalist). The previous album (Count your blessings) was more of what people class as "Screamo" music but this is more of a hardcore approach. This album in my opinion is the best from the band and is fantastic. Each song gets better and better as you go through. It also contains guest vocals from Sam Carter (Lead Vocalist, Architects) who is another vocalist from a great band which just improves this album...
