Inhuman Rampage - Dragonforce ... am sure this is a fantastic album... I find it very difficult to get passed Revolution Deathsquad, which may very well the greatest song of all time. Containing everything you should ever expect from a song, it is damn near perfect. It is epic. It contains one of the greatest breakdowns in musical history. It contains the words "Fight for the truth and freedom, Gloria.". Only it isn t just Gloria, its Gloriaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, which is frankly incredible. I m not the biggest fantasy metal, cheese freak in the world, I am more into punk, hardcore and generally more brutal flavoured metals, but this song is flippin brillsville. Rock 'n' Roll Jesus: Parental Advisory - Kid Rock ... d heard the odd Kid Rock song on the radio and tv over the years and always liked what I d heard. So after hearing All Summer Long recently I decided it was time to get me a Kid Rock album. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life! Well of course it wasn t, but it was a mistake nonetheless. I saw the tag saying WARNING: EXPLICIT LYRICS on the front of the cd, but I have to say I was a little naive. I expected a little swearing and and maybe the f word but the lyrics really can be quite explicit - even sexually so at times. I m not a snob but I don t like hearing that sort of thing in music. Ragnarok - Týr ... is Tyr s 3rd album, released in 2006 on Napalm Records having moved away from their previous deal with the small Faroese record label Tutl. There were good and bad aspects of Tyr s 2003 album Eric the Red but their 2006 follow up Ragnarok certainly wasn t put together in a hurry and the band had plenty of time to focus on the good aspects. Perhaps the things that they found good and the things that I found good are different because I would say that Ragnarok is nowhere near on par with Eric The Red, what it has done is taken the poppy theme of Eric The Red which seems even tamer than their Proclaimers type vocals previously used.
