Premium Review Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire - Soundtrack: Potters Musical Goblet (425 words)

I've only recently started listening to the Harry Potter soundtracks but so far this is the one that has stood out from the others. Unlike many other albums associated with films, the collection of Harry Potter ones have songs which are not continually the same as the one before. This one included does not copy the same tune which runs thoughout the movie. In fact you could say that the music has grown up with the Harry Potter franchise! The album is a wealthy 24 songs long but at the cheap price of £5.98 from Amazon you can't go wrong really. Naturally not all of the songs were played in their full length in the film which is a shame, but who's to ...  Read the complete review

What Is It? Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire soundtrack CD is the original music from the highly sucessful film. Unlike past soundtracks this actully has a variety of artists but the main composer is Paterick Doyle. The other 2 artists you see on this CD are Abigail Doyle and Jarvis Cocker. Why Buy The Soundtrack? If you've seen the movie (or been dragged to it by children) then you will have noticed that the music plays a huge part in the movie. This CD has all the music and a little bit extra, untouched from the original movie. It is also a collectors piece as well so for any budding collectors out there! Is It Differerent To Other ...  Read the complete review

It is interesting to note exactly how ambivalent John Williams has been towards the popular Harry Potter film franchise when you look at his involvement over the film series. The first score was a recount of quite a lot of his earlier scores in both sound and execution, while different other film projects in 2002 made him give less attention to the Chamber of Secrets film, even letting William Ross do arrangements of his older themes. For the Prisoner of Azkaban he finally branched into something a whole lot more interesting and original, making for a promising continuation, but come 2005 and with the advancement of four major scores from him during that year, one for ...  Read the complete review
