I've only recently started listening to the Harry Potter soundtracks but so far this is the one that has stood out from the others. Unlike many other albums associated with films, the collection of Harry Potter ones have songs which are not continually the same as the one before. This one included does not copy the same tune which runs thoughout the movie. In fact you could say that the music has grown up with the Harry Potter franchise! The album is a wealthy 24 songs long but at the cheap price of £5.98 from Amazon you can't go wrong really. What Is It? Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire soundtrack CD is the original music from the highly sucessful film. Unlike past soundtracks this actully has a variety of artists but the main composer is Paterick Doyle. The other 2 artists you see on this CD are Abigail Doyle and Jarvis Cocker. Why Buy The Soundtrack? If you've seen the movie (or been dragged to it by children) then you will have noticed that the music plays a huge part in the movie. It is interesting to note exactly how ambivalent John Williams has been towards the popular Harry Potter film franchise when you look at his involvement over the film series. The first score was a recount of quite a lot of his earlier scores in both sound and execution, while different other film projects in 2002 made him give less attention to the Chamber of Secrets film, even letting William Ross do arrangements of his older themes.
