William Shatner began his career as an actor most famously in TJ Hooker and obviously as Captain Kirk in the original series of Star Trek, but also infamous is his "spoken word" music covers, such as "Rocketman" by Elton John. This though, is another kettle of fish. Its hard to tell wether or not this album is self referencial of all the cheek and spoof impersonators he got from doing his style of music, or is as straight faced as a studio album by any other artist.
