This EP was Slayer's second release after "Show No Mercy". It seems, with hindsight, more like "Reign In Blood" than their second album, "Hell Awaits", but so be it. It opens with a live favourite for many years: "Chemical Warfare", an anti-war anthem that perhaps every politician should be made to listen to. "Captor Of Sin" is next up, a song that I would guess is inspired by the film "The Exorcist". None for me Excellent, stripped-down riffs and song-structures, superb vocals and lyrics, great atmosphere None Fantastic album with consistent tracks, good lyrics, very melodic guitar playing. A bit poor production, other than that..I dunno.? Unpredictable, relentless thrash metal from the Underworld. Long song lengths lack discipline. A nice range of songs from the first three albums.
