It seems like an eternity since I reviewed a Haydamaky album, so I was keen to write about some of the Ukrainians band's earlier albums. Singing solely in Ukrainian, this band of bygone era sounding folk artists have been gracing the music scene for almost 2 decades now. They make some of the most ethnically ancient music in Europe but at the same time some of the most modern by combining it with dub, ska, electronic and rock at just the right moments.
