The sludgy guitars are distinctly Iommi (apart from a guest solo by Queen’s Brian May), but the drums in particular and the keyboard varnish overlaid serve to distance this release from classics like ‘Paranoid’ and ‘Master of Reality,’ as Black Sabbath look back over the decade and strive to forge the most generic 1980s metal anthems possible. It's still adequate for Jovi's fans Dissapointed content. You'll find out in my review

Landmark heavy metal album, excellent musicianship from all band members, classic songs Short and somewhat repetitive

Better than Live at Last Bits have been cut out from the original

Captures the band at its peak, with some of their finest songs including comparatively rare ones. Some superior songs are missing, and 'Wicked World' would only really work in the flesh.

Fantastic vocals, excellent songwriting and execution, loads of atmosphere, great lyrics Vocals might be offputting to some

Great value for money 4 cds and dvd set. None

The Work Which Transforms God - Blut Aus Nord
Hugely atmospheric, well crafted songs, well balanced as an album May be a little too avant-garde for some

Usa - Bloodrock

Stash - Bongzilla
Loyal and slightly varied stoner sludge doom. I don't smoke, so I probably didn't fully appreciate it.

Mystical Beast Of Rebellion - Blut Aus Nord
Intense black metal performance, for those who enjoy relentlessly samey riffs and drum blasts. Tedious, repetitive and artistically void.

Mort - Blut Aus Nord
Hugely atmospheric, original, well executed Its abstract nature will not be to everyones taste

Gateway - Bongzilla
Great sludge doom. Repetitive towards the end.

Normal - Bumblefoot

Thematic Emanation Of Archetypal Multiplicity - Blut Aus Nord
Varied and atmospheric Industrial parts are a little generic sounding in places.

Apogee - Bongzilla
Suitably stoned atmosphere, good live sound quality. Incredibly lazy.

Amerijuanican - Bongzilla
Consistent. Too consistent.
