Did OLP get forced into this one? Did it ruin the feeling for the fans? Did it almost destroy the band? Dare I ask, did they sell out? Well Healthy in paranoid times was the 6th studio album by Canadian alternative rock band Our Lady Peace (OLP) and after the release saw the band leaving the label and spending several years out of the studio, it saw the lead singer record a solo album and 2 compilation albums before their most recent album (Burn Burn, released in 2009). The band had had reached a rather cult level from their early albums, with a heavy but yet surreal rock feel added to the uniquely charged vocals of lead singer Raine Maida, and after 4 albums ... 'Healthy in paranoid times' the 6th album by Canadian alt rockers Our Lady Peace is a slight return to form after the overly commercial dumbed down previous effort 'Gravity'. The album once again shows Our Lady Peace flexing there musical muscles in a way that wasn't evident on 'Gravity' and is a much better album for it. State Of Euphoria - Anthrax
More of the same for devoted fans of the previous album.
Boring as a result, and very samey throughout.
Sound Of White Noise - Anthrax
If you're desperate for more generic early-nineties hard rock/grunge.
Doesn't sound like Anthrax, and John Bush doesn't impress.
Persistence Of Time - Anthrax
More technical, melodic, heavy, varied, epic and powerful than anything else the band would release.
A couple of songs still sound similar.
I'm The Man - Anthrax
Your sense of humour may be sufficiently lacking, rendering this amusing.
It's Anthrax messing around with novelty rap, recorded three times. What's to like?
Hunters And Prey - Angra
Heavy Metal - 2002
Penikufesin - Anthrax
Entertaining subsidiary offering from Anthrax's golden age.
Nothing substantial, beyond a bit of fun.
Attack Of The Killer B's - Anthrax
Some good hardcore-thrash crossover stuff, and interesting new material.
Comedy songs are a bit rubbish, and some of the covers too basic.
Among The Living - Anthrax
Super fast, super consistent
The vocals
Bring The Noise - Anthrax
Rap metal that isn't terrible, balanced out with a couple of near-classics.
May alienate metal fans, and hip hop fans may not like the later tracks.
