Hed Kandi Summer 2004
by benlepensive - written on 14/02/09 (Useful, 31 readings)
Rating:
You know where you with these Hed Kandi albums, bursting at the seams with endless amounts of funky house fruityness, they capture the essence of weekend clubbing really well. This is one of the stronger albums of the series. On this album: Head straight to the brilliant 'Fade' by Solu Music for a slice of vibrant uplifting funky house. Glorious and sultry female vocals work well with the summery melody, making the song sound alert and fresh. Peyton's gay house anthem 'Higher Place' makes a welcome appearance. His knowing vocals and ability to deliver a rousing chorus make this a stimulating listen. Also on the first disc, check out the remix of Stonebridge, which ...

Cream Classics Vol.1

Rating:
~Introduction~ I am a huge fan of music in many genres, without it I would be lost. I enjoy listening to music whilst I work and am cooking or doing bits of housework. I also like to relax at home and when I am travelling by listening to some chilled out and calm music. In this review, I will try to review the music in as clear detail as I can giving a feel of some of the songs and their emotions. I will include a track listing so that you know what tracks are included, but this isn’t something that I have done in order to make my review look really long. ~Cream~ The ‘Cream’ brand has to be one of the most recognised and much loved clubbing ...

Now That's What I Call Music! 58
by mousedadrummer - written on 10/08/09 (Useful, 11 readings)
Rating:
out in 2004. This is one of the better Now albums that I have owned, a lot of other editions just seem to be filled with mostly rubbish tracks and Artists that I have never heard of, with only a handfull of decent tracks. This edition however is a suprise as I have heard of most of the artists on it, in fact out of the 42 tracks, there are only 7 artists I have no knowledge of! On some other Now albums, this would be the other way round. Some of my favourite tracks on the album are "Hey Ya" by Outkast, "Matinee" by Franz Ferdinand and "In The Shadows" by The Rasmus. There are also lots of other great tracks by big names such as Britney ...
