I bought this album thinking, my he hasn't brought an album out for a while - the album cover was great and he is so amazing. The music was slightly disappointing though! Very samey. All his work is very original and breathtaking (obviously if it is in your taste range) but this album is different, slightly more modern and doesn't have the solidarity like the others had. However when heliocentric came out,i was pleasently surprised by it.With every album Weller seems to improve ,mainly by not re-writing the last album unlike so many other artists who release greatly acclaimed albums. "He's the Keeper" the opening track is probably the highlight of the album, along with "Frightend".Although there is one song with lyrics that are a little corny that being "sweat pea". ...
