Hell Hath No Fury - Civet

Civet were recently supporting The Dropkick Murphy's in Warsaw and whilst working out whether or not I wanted to go to the concert, I decided to check their latest album out - Hell Hath No Fury, released last year, it's a lively album by the American girl punk band. The gravelly and coarse voice of singer Liza Graves is pretty rough but certainly adds a distinctive flavour to Civet's fast brand of punk rock. There's a focus on heavy drumming and the songs tend to be fairly traditional poppy numbers with the simplicity of a Ramones song but perhaps without the catchiness.
