Hello rock view was the third studio album released by the American ska punk band Less Than Jake. I think it was actually the first album I heard them do and off the back of this it made me want to get their older albums as well as buy their newer album releases in the future as well.

The first song is last one out of liberty city, at first with the bassline it almost sounds like its going to be a hard punk song however then the trumpets and the other ska instruments kick in and it becomes a much more fun song. Its still a fast but it's a very up beat song with great instruments all the way through.

Help me save the youth on America I perhaps my favourite song off the album, I just love the way in which it builds up at the start, a lot of less than jake songs just don't do this so its good to hear. Its got truly fantastic instruments all the way through again and in particular guitar which can sometimes be overshadowed by the trumpets on less than jake songs but not on this one.

All my friends are metal heads featured on one of the tony hawks games and is perhaps one of the most known songs from this album for a lot of people, it starts of with a talking bit which can be a bit annoying when you just want to listen to the song, but once you get past that bit it's a truly great song.

The last song on the album is Al's war it's a kind of different style to most of the other ones, its not got any ska instruments, its still fast paced but the singing is much slower and its Chris who sings this one and it just sounds really great, I think half of it is that the lyrics are also excellent too.
