The guitars still manage to be fast, especially in the solos, but lack Hansen's creativity, and the album even falls back on cheap gimmicks such as the power ballads 'Number One' and 'Your Turn,' something the band had previously avoided.

Occasionally, the departure of a core band member will cause subsequent releases from a band to be unfairly judged as inferior, but other times, such as the departure of guitarist Kai Hansen from Helloween leading to their disappointing 1991 album 'Pink Bubbles Go Ape' for example, the attitude is borne out by fact.
