Advantages: Eno at his most roxy-esque

Disadvantages: None that I can see

A truly underrated gem, which is somewhat atypical for what the artist is mainly known for. Taking the lead from where he left off with his previous band Roxy Music Eno creates a classic Glam rock album which seems to go mysteriously unnoticed by most.

For fans of Roxy there is plenty here straight away that they will feel familiar with as the album veers quite closely to Ferry and co. but indeed seems to go off on its on peculiar little tangent.

Eno has admitted that the lyrics for this album are mostly gibberish but strangely they all seem to fit perfectly despite in places (the title track being the most obvious example) of them being almost incomprehensible.

My personal favourite tracks from this album are the sublime pop of opener 'Needles in the Camel's Eye', the manic furious guitar assualt of 'Baby's on Fire' (featuring Robert Fripp on lead guitar) and the otherworldly title track featuring what must be the most ludicrous, yet ridiculously catchy guitar riff i've ever heard.

A great start to a varied career for eno.

Summary: A truly underrated glam gem
