Joe McElderry is back with his (I think it's his fourth?) album. This one us called 'Here's What I Believe' and was released in the United Kingdom in September 2012 and so the album is very recent. The CD is currently available to buy from Amazon for a price of £9.00 which I think is good value for money.

Well first of all, I have to say that this is the route Joe should have taken when he won X Factor - rather than taking the poppy route, as this is definitely what he does best.
The albums consists mainly of love songs and ballads. There are some really lovely songs on here. My favourites include 'Here's What I Belive In', 'When I Need You' and 'Somethin's Gotten Hold of My Heart'. One song which I don't really like is 'When I Need You' as I find it to be quite boring. This is the only song that I dislike thought.
Joe sounds amazing on this album! His voice has improved and is now stronger and more mature. He also knows how to 'place' his voice better now. One thing I noticed, when compared to other singers - Joe pronounces every single word and so you can understand every single word (unlike a lot of artists these days). Joe puts all his feelings and emotions into the songs.
There are a few covers on this album. Joe has done a great job with these and has really made them 'his own'. One example of this is the song 'Somethin's Gotten Hold of My Heart' - it is so much better than the original. Joe has also done a bit of song writing on this album too - great attempt!
This album is very 'relaxing' and so I think that it is a great album to listen to whilst chilling out at home or in the car. There are a lot of slow songs on here. None of them are up-tempo or catchy and so they are certainly not going to put you in a party mood. But they are great songs to listen to whilst chilling out.
All in all, I would recommend this album!
