This is a fantastic album, one ot the best I've bought this year. It's hard to define what category of music A are trying to fall into but from this evidence they sound like a sort of cross between The Police (due to Jason's fantastically so-Sting-it's-unbelievable vocals), Feeder and Blink 182/Sum 41. Unlikely, yeah, but really, really good.
This album shows they've got a lot more variety of tunes than their American counterparts and can be respected as one of the best new up-and-coming British bands.

There are only 2 "mediocre" tunes in my opinion - "Took It Away" and "Shut Yer Face", and even then, they're still saved by energetic, clever instrumental work. And, the latter track's really funny, written by a bloke but from a woman's perspective. But forget about them,
A have a great selection and know how to play good
tunes - i.e................
the two singles, "Nothing" and "Starbucks" (a great tune reminiscent of the Offspring crossed with Semisonic's Closing Time, and with a great message - make the most of your life, enjoy it while it lasts, don't wish you were somewhere else!!)

"Goin' Down" "Someting's Going On" "Pacific Ocean Blue", etc.are classics, still enjoyable every time you switch the CD player on. A great album and I'm really looking forward to what this band can do in the future. Well done lads!
