High School Musical 2 - Soundtrack

It took me quite a while to catch on to High School Musical. In fact, I ended up seeing High School Musical 3 before I saw the first two! Though I have now caught myself up and along with that I am becoming more familiar with the songs. In an attempt to fully connect with the music, I found myself borrowing the CDs from a friend. One of which was of course the High School Musical 2 CD soundtrack. The album can be recognized by its aqua blue cover. For those that dont know, High school musical is a very popular film series for children and some adults these days. I am going to review the soundtrack CD for the 2nd film. In my opinion, I find this CD to contain the most popular songs as opossed to the other two films, they are well written and some are quite witty and amusing. In total, their are 11 tracks, featuring the most popular tracks of the film. They are all sung by the cast members involved in that particular song on the film and are very catchy. Strangely, this soundtrack, i've found, is often less expenisve that the previous one. Featuring the original cast members, this CD offers the full musical aspect to the second film from the writings of Peter Barsocchini. High School Musical, the smash-hit Disney creation featuring the now famous Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and co, continues to roll out the debris from the films loved by millions...merchandise, clothing...and lots and lots of music. High School Musical is essentially a brand name of it's own. Make any product (literally anything) write high school musical across it, and it's guaranteed to sell big. Children aren't the only ones to take a liking to the HSM series; no, there are a fair few adults I know who share a love for the east high wildcats too! The soundtracks to all 3 films rpoduced are guaranteed to sell bigger than any normal HSM product, as the music itself is what makes the films so appealing. The instananeous burst isnto song and dance gives the movies a feel-good factor, and it's not all cheesy pop music! This is my least favourite High School Musical film, the film starts at the end of term with all the pupils waiting for the start of the summer holiday. Sharpay and Ryan disappear off to Lava Springs their parents resort where they annually participate in the Star Dazzle Competition and win, Sharpay also tries to rule through Fulton the Lava Springs Manager, in full realisation that Troy is after a summer job to earn money for going to college, Sharpay uses Fulton to gain Troy a job at Lava Springs.
