Advantages: Great songs

Disadvantages: Not the best album

AC/DC's album "Highway To Hell" kicks off with the identically named title track. You know the one, it's that track with a guitar riff that everyone knows! Angus will rip your ears out with this one, what more do you want! The song is not popular amongst religious groups obviously but it was actually written about a long road through the desert in Australia according to Brian Johnson! This has to be one of AC/DC's most famous songs, everyone knows it, everyone loves, it just rocks!

The second track on the album, "Girls Got Rhythm" is a bit of a contrast, still a good fun song but lacking the raw, powerful guitar riff.

Some of the songs on the album aren't that great to be honest, a bit of filler material in my opinion but the band strike gold once again with "Shot Down In Flames". This track has a fantastic intro, the high pitched guitar sound that is created is simply ear destroyingly good. I think "Shot Down In Flames" is definitely up there with their best. It doesn't have the best complete packaged song but the intro is stunning, it can't be denied.

Highway To Hell isn't one of my favourite AC/DC albums and I've got most of them! It does contain some absolutely belting tracks though! It's worth it just for those.

Summary: An album containing some fantastic tracks
