Chronic 2001 - Dr Dre: ... within is quite high but then again with the rappers featured, you would expect it. The highlights of the album are The watcher, still D.R.E, Big egos, what's the difference and forgot about dre. These tracks are all quite similar in style and are definitely the best tracks. There arn't any lowlights of the album. At the risk of being called sexist, i would say that the best tracks are the ones with male rappers. ...

Seres 3 Feet High And Rising - De La Soul
... them, there are still a series of excellent songs here, even if you aren't a fan of rap. De La Soul are one of the few bands who have broken into mainstream consciousness, which I can prove by telling you about "The Magic Number". Yes, De La Soul were the first to announce that three was a magic number, with this fun song that starts the album proper. As far as fun poppy moments go, this album has them to spare, with the seriously good natured "Tread Water" a certain highlight, featuring the band ask different animals for advice about life in general, and making some terrifically awful rhymes in the process. One of the better things about the album ...

Andy.mack Collision Course - Linkin Park / Jay-Z
... original backing tracks, mixing in a lot of Linkin Park's hard rocking sound with the smoother beats of Jay-Z's rap records and creating something that actually sounds natural. While I would say Numb/Encore is probably the most recognizable of all the tracks on the album the best example of the project working has to be "Points of Authority/99 Problems/One Step Closer". It blends all three tracks really well and sees Mike Shinoda take on parts of jay-Z's tracks and really helps add something else to this version. While this really wasn't something that I would normally buy I have to say that I am now very glad that I did. It's only 6 tracks long and at the or...

Blackman_Isaac The Struggle - Cappadonna
... there it strikes THE DOOR of my room like hard-hitting sound waves. I consider Inspectah Deck to be among the most talented of Wu-Tang Clan soldiers. Given his natural ability to aptly switch up his lyrical flow in a small matter of seconds, his input can make any track GET better. Overall, Inspectah Deck's fantastic wordplay is majestic enough to secure the +10/10 award for Get Away From The Door. If any rap listener is inclined to listen to a Cappadonna and Raekwon (real name: Corey Woods) collaboration, then another ill track to check out is KILLA KILLA HILL. The verses especially that of Cappadonna's give a clear definition of the pillage where '....young bloods ...
