long violin intro even beats the crazy storm sample intro to greena nd grey. maybe. a rousing shout-along angry anthem kicking in at the perfect time on the album. YES New Model Army you know what y ou're doing! angryish. 10, 125 mph the quality is retained by the increase in anger and some more anthemic dirty folk rock. 11, archway towers slow. a bit boring, i think its on the northern line? angry though. 12, the charge YES classic nma, chorus arrives and you cant hear the band for people shouting along. still. referrences to some poem i cant remember the name of. mmmm ...

It has to be rare for a band that has been around for as long as NMA (late seventies) to produce such an imaginitive record so far down the line. No Rest for the Wicked is No Model Army s 2nd studio album and was released the year following their Vengeance album - 1985. In many ways the album follows example of their first with a mixture of upbeat tracks and quieter ones. The album has less of a military form to it though although the vocals still reach out and grab you so that there s no ignoring the words Justin Sullivan speaks. The production on the album is also cleaner and there is a wider variation of styles on the album, tracks like Shot 18 really aren t particularly interesting despite the introduction of mouth organ and may or may not be a harp.
