Mel B aka Scary Spice released her debut album 'Hot' way back in 2000. Known for being the mouthy northerner in the band it would at the time be very interesting to see whether we could cope with a full studio album by the singer. 'Hot' consists of 11 tracks, and she is very much the R&B/Pop sounding record that you would expect ... Read the complete review

I paid just 39p for this album off Amazon.co.uk. They messed up the price so I got a bargain. It was brand new aswell!!! The album includes her hook up with Missy Elliot, I Want You Back, which was a number one single for Melanie a few years ago. The track is very RnB inspired with Missy appearing on it and it was Mel's way of ... Read the complete review

I felt I had to review this, as she was always one of my preferred Spice Girls. Mel had guts and determination and always looked like she was having a good time, my kind of lady. This was her only album and spurned a few hits. Who is she: One fifth of Spice Girls and occasional actress. On this ... Read the complete review

When I knew that Melanie B aka Scary Spice, from the Spice Girls, made an album, I immediately bought it. It's called "Hot" and it's the first album of Scary Spice. It's a mix of r&b and pop sounds. Very very cool!!! There are only 11 tracks, all very good and danceable, like Destiny's Child, Tlc sounds. ... Read the complete review

Isnt she just excellent?!? I had my doubts about what her solo album would sound like but it turns out that the album in my opinion is great. Well that is all of it except the last track on the album called Feel Me Now... im afraid this track actually lets down the album as a whole. My favourite track is the first track called ... Mel B'S style of music came as a surprise to me, but a pleasant one. if i had been given this five years ago when i bought the first spice girls album, spice, i wouldn't have liked it. but this album is more mature than spice/spiceworld and aimed at a slightly higher age than the first two spice girls albums. here is my opinion ... Mel B aka Scary Spice has always been in my opinion the most interesting Spice Girl. I think that wild exterior is just an act; very few people get to know the real Melanie Brown. When I heard her first single away from the group I wasn’t disappointed! The Missy Elliott collaboration 'I Want You Back' was a cool, slinky ... Read the complete review
