To be honest, I have never been a fan of Shaggy, but I am always willing to give a new release at least one listen just in case I am surprised by the artists latest offering. Loaned of copy of "Hot Shot" by a friend, I sat down and prepared to be surprised. The opening track is the title track, and it is the kind of music to make you physically cringe as Shaggy proclaims in his fake accent that he is "Mr Hot Shot".
