Hotrod Frankie are a pyschobilly band from Sweden and should be far better known. With heavy militant drumming, catchy guitar playing and quirky lyrics belted out in a husky but clear and cool sounding voice like Lemmy meets Elvis - the sound is quite recognisable. Borrowing from doo-wop and punk for their sound, the lyrics often show that with references to Peggy Sue in Highway 69. Lost in Lynchland is the band's 2nd album and has a cleaner and less horror themed album than the band's 2006 debut "My Father Was a Madman", the music is well paced whilst some tracks could be considered a relentless fun assault (Black rider & Boogeyman returns), ...
