This is the superb debut album from British punk rock 5 piece A, however at the time of its original release it did not receive anything like the amount of recognition that it truly deserved. A are the British answer to American bands like The Offspring and Green Day and have the talent and ability to be equally as good. I'm sure most people have heard songs from there recent album Hi-fi Serious like "Nothing" or "Starbucks" but don't actually realise that they have also heard songs from How Ace Are Buildings and A Vs Monkey Kong. How Ace Are Buildings? This is the question, which “A” are obviously looking for in their debut album. Either that or they thought it sounded good, which it does. The front and back cover of the CD is a picture of a block of buildings, one of which is on fire, with loads of fire trucks etc… trying to put out the fire. In the fire is the “A” logo, which is a capital A with flames going out to the right. The only annoying thing about “A” is that if you try to search for their records on internet sites you can’t.
