Electrik Red formed when two pairs of friends, one set from New York, another out of Toronto linked up and collectively were signed up by the R&B singer The-Dream. In 2009, after a couple of underground singles, the R&B girl group dropped "How To Be A Lady: Volume 1"and showed how they cold take on the sort of style which The-Dream brought with his Tricky Stewart collaborations in a style which could be likened to the sort of thing that the Pussycat Dolls and Rihanna brought before them. 1.
