I remember buying this album on tape when it came out (1994) from Our Price. Nice. It turned out to be one of my favourite albums of the nineties. It is quite brilliant. Opener, Alice What's The Matter, lets you know that these boys have got a bit of a harder edge than a lot of there Britpop/rock contemporaries. It also let's you know they've got a stupid sense of humour and they're far sillier than their contemporaries too. The lyrics are not 'high art'. It's amazing how many tracks on here went on to be big singles. I bought the album after hearing Oblivion, which is a fantastically fun perfect pop song. Stop The Bus slows things ... This is my favourite Terrorvision album. Because I like it sooooo much, I am going to have to write about most songs on it, including the hidden track, did you know about that? ALICE WHAT’S THE MATTER Alice, what is the matter? Did anyone ever ask the poor girl? The song is a fantastic starting track for the album. It contains good guitar work, but isn’t too adventurous on the capacity of lyrics (Alice what’s the matter x 8…and repeat) However, it is pure Terrorvision, and is a good song, ,so why criticise it? The album "how to make freinds and influence" is brillent. It has some cool songs like Bus man, which is kinda rock type song. If u like hardcore metal and stuff dont buy this album. if u liked there song "tequllia" dont get this album coz its actually good. I know this album is a bit of a blast from the past, but i saw it in the shops and thought hellll yeah and got it. If u like oasis u MAY liek this even tho oasis is rubbish towniee stuff.
