For those of you who have never heard of Creed, they are a Christian Rock band who have had numerous number one hits in the USA. They have tried to break into the UK market by releasing 'With Arms Wide Open', which reached a respectable number 8 considering that there was very little publicity about it. Thanks to its inclusion on a film, some may be more akin to the song 'Sacrifice' from their newer album, but 'Human Clay' is all about the original and best. HOW DID I HEAR ABOUT THE BAND? Ok, believe it or not, I was 18 (yes, that was a long 6 years ago...) and just went into a chat room and asked what everyones favourite songs ... Read the complete review

Searching for some new albums I came across Creeds latest album-Human Clay. After receiving the first album from a friend I decided to go for it.This album is very thought provoking but at the same time good quality sound.Creed make the combination twine together beautifully and produce an album well worth buying. Creed consist of Scott Stapp (vocalist) Mark Tremonti (guitar, vocals) Scott Philips (drums) and Brian Marshall on the bass.Stapp and Tremonti are the genious' behind the lyrics and music itself. These two make up kind of there own style but it is classed as alternative or indie.Whatever it is it's. Track Listings: 1.Are you ... Read the complete review

I began to appreciate Creed when I heard their song My Sacrifice and One Last Breath from my friends at work. I was not really a listener of this group, but since Creed has been the most played music in my work place, I find myself already influenced by the music. Since then, I become an their avid Creed fan to date. I have two Creed albums on my collection, the Human Clay and their Greatest Hits DVD. I have previous review on their greatest hits DVD which was published at ciao.com but I wasn't able to give enough details on their music particularly the songs included in the compilation. This time I wanted to give much more details about the band themselves, a look ... Read the complete review

Earlier this year, Florida-spawned quartet Creed released their second album Human Clay, and I have to say, it's a hard-hitting, rockin' roller coaster ride of emotions. The band consists of Scott Stapp (vocals), Scott Phillips (drums), Brian Marshall (bass) and Mark Temonti (guitar and some vocals), who all play a vital part in making hard-edge music that not only manages to be emotional, but also dimensional and complete. The 12 track album kicks off with "Are you ready?" a fairly easy going song, after which it immediately launches in to "What If", an intense guitar riff laden track with Stapp's amazing, almost Vedder-esque ... Creed's 1999 release, Human Clay solidifies their place as one of my favorite bands. Expanding on the winning formula from My Own Prison , Creed's latest album combines stunning guitar riffs with truly meaningful lyrics.Creed's latest song writing covers a wider variety of generally more positive topics, such as personal salvation ("Are You Ready?" and "Faceless Man"), the deceptiveness of physical beauty and the devil ("Beautiful" and "Say I"), becoming a father ("With Arms Wide Open"), and inner peace ("Inside Us All"). As did "My Own Prison" on their first album, one of the ... Read the complete review
