Advantages: great selection of songs, 2 disk edition avalible

First off system of a down rule!!!!! Hypnotise is by far the best album so far, and as in mesmerize Darren ( guitarist) gets to sing a lot more.
All of the tracks are different in some way or another there songs on politics and war are so true it’s frightening.
Anyways if you are a system of a down fan then you will know that the last track is a longer version of the first track on the previous album mesmerize witch is a nice little touch to the fact that the 2 albums mesmerize and hypnotise are of 2 parts of one intended album.
Also included to the album is a nice fold out case complete with artwork and lyrics to all the songs.
On the whole this album is brilliant all the tracks you can definitely sing along, an absolute must for any system of a down fans.
I picked up my copy for about £10 from my local Woolworths but I would also recommend hmv you might be able to get it cheaper now, there is also a 2 disk edition with DVD not sure how much that one is though but should available from hmv or any leading music stores.

- 29/12/05 I love System and I was gutted to find that Santa had not checked the cd he had been sent for me from Play.com - he had been sent the normal version not the special edition. Needless to say its now winging its way back to Play and hopefully I will actually get to listen to this album soon! |

- 28/12/05 i love SOAD, and think they rock, but i havent got this album yet. i think that i need to read a few more reviews on this album before i buy it first. but thing is, is could you improve your review, by adding track names, what they're about/like. also, a bit of background on SOAD would be good as well. angie |

- 28/12/05 The reason that i have given an NH is that firstly your review seems aimed at people who are already SOAD fans and thats a very small %of the readers here. Second anyone unfamiliar with SOAD music will be none the wiser after read as to what the band sound like, their genre, their attitude etc and so i consider it NH. The last bit about the cost etc is only useful once you know what it is you are talking about. remember that these reviews should be able to help someone make a purchase decision and i dont feel that your review aids anyone in doing so...Dave |
