Hysterics by Rolo Tomassi is definatly not easy listening. Dischordant, jazzy, random and brutal mathcore all at the same time. It sounds like someone falling over onto a synth with piercing abrasive screams over the top. There is definatly a noticable difference from their EP before this. Hysterics has more dynamics and even some clean sung quiet moments. The album starts off with the most eerie, haunting noise, and a bass riff and clean vocals, slowly building up to a climax.The song is "Oh Hello Ghost" and this is one of my favourite songs by them, it isnt just random noise.
