Advantages: alot of material...

Disadvantages: Second CD, not as good as the 1st.

I have never been the biggest Beyonce fan in the world, but when If I Were A Boy came out, something changed. This album really does break away from her previous attempts with B-Day and Dangerously in Love. It is far more mature a sound, and references not just RnB. At first, I was slightly dubious with the second CD, entitlted "..Sasha Fierce" this is the collection of up tempo songs that cator to Beyonces alter Ego. They did grow on me eventually, but I still believe that (bar Single Ladies and Diva) the first CD with the softer melodies and subtle vocals are far more superior. Stepping away from the music, the whole 'look' for this album is sublime. The contrast of black and white, and the golds and greys really suit Beyonce and show off a bling, but futuristic and artistic element to her work, that I dont think we have ever had the pleasure of seeing before.

Summary: Well worth the money, even if its just to get down to Single Ladies.
