A mix of some amazing and some not so amazing songs (I Am... Sasha Fierce - Beyonce)

Advantages: Some really amazing songs

Disadvantages: some terrible songs

This album had a real mix of songs which sound good right? Well there are a mix of ballads and upbeat songs and i have absolutely nothing bad to say about the ballads the other's i'm not too convinced about. There are so much emotion in her ballads and she sings it with such conviction you can feel exactly what the song was intended to mean and how she must have felt. She has a really powerful voice and the quality that you would expect from Beyonce. When you listen to music you want the songs to make you feel certain things and the lyrics in the ballads certainly do exactly that. They are personal yet you find that you can also relate to them. She's definitely not afraid to express herself through these songs and they are really soothing to listen too. The more fast pasted songs are not all bad. A lot of them are annoyingly catchy like single ladies and diva but they just can't compare to the more meaningful songs. Listening to them it feels like they're just there to bulk out the album and add another dimension to the album but doing so without much effort. The fast songs are less serious and lighter to listen to but they lack the emotion and talent that you expect from this album. Overall i do not regret buying this album because then i would have missed out on some truly amazing songs but some of the songs just seemed to lack a certain things.

Summary: There's definitely a mix of songs here but it's worth listening to
