I Am... Sasha Fierce was Beyonce's third studio album and was released in 2008. This is one of my favourite Beyonce albums because it has a really good mix of slow, emotional songs and faster, upbeat songs and most of the songs are quite catchy and easy to listen to.

This album is split into two discs. The track listing for I Am... Sasha Fierce is as follows:

Disc one is my favourite and I would say I listen to it more than disc 2, it contains mostly the slower and more emotional songs that really show off Beyonce's vocal ability. This disc is named I Am... and is supposed to be about Beyonce and herself personally as an artist. My favourite tracks off disc one are as follows:
If I Were A Boy
This is song that imagines how a relationship would be if the male and female roles were reversed. It basically is about a women who is sick of being mistreated and wants to teach her boyfriend a lesson as he is treating her badly in their relationship. She decides it would be easier to do what she wants and not be questioned about it. I really like this song as although I am not saying all men treat women badly, I am sure lots of women can relate to the scenario in this song, and also men who are not being treated well as well. This song is sung really well and although the song starts slowly, it peaks by the end and has lots of energy and emotion in it.
Halo
This is a beautiful song about finally meeting the person of your dreams and just seeing them as an angel. I really love this song as it is so positive and happy and has lots of emotion in it. This song is really easy to listen to and has a really lovely melody to it, it is one of my favourite songs off the album and is definitely worth a listen.

Disc two is much more up tempo and fun than disc one. I would usually listen to this album mostly when I am getting dressed up and ready for a night out. This album is named Sasha Fierce, who is Beyonce's onstage alter ego and represents the fun and sexy side of Beyonce's music. There are also quite a few amazing songs on this album and a few of my favourite include:
Radio
This is a fun song about falling in love with your radio because you love music so much and replace men with it. It is a upbeat and faster tempo song. I really like this song as it has a really positive and fun feeling to it and the background music is really energetic.
Single Ladies
This is a song about being happy being single and free. It is a really confident song about how men you shouldn't be with someone who does not appreciate you and how men should be the ones to do the chasing in a relationships. This song has a fantastic beat to it and is really catchy, it just makes me want to sing along with it, it is really fun and sexy and then of course there is the famous dance from the music video that many celebrities have also attempted to recreate.
I can honestly say there are no songs on this album that I dislike, it is one of my favourite Beyonce albums so far and I still listen to it loads even though I have owned it for years. I don't really like how the album is split into two discs because it makes it awkward to listen to songs off the two albums at the same time.

Price and Availability
You can buy this album in HMV for £7 which isn't a bad price in my opinion. It was of course much more expensive when I bought it when it was first released. I think though that if you shopped around, you could probably get it much cheaper online.

Overall I think that this is a fantastic album, it is by far my favourite Beyonce album so far. There is a really good mix of slower and more serious songs and fun, sexy songs on this album and I would recommend it to anyone who likes pop music or Beyonce as an artist. Overall I would give this album 5 out of 5 stars.
