My Chemical Romance is one of those bands that has a first album that many fans won't have even heard of, as it was a smaller release on (an independent label) than their subsequent their breakout album 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge'. So is this release worth looking at or are fans best to keep to 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge' and 'The Black Parade'? The answer will depend on how much 'emo' content is acceptable. This "My Chemical Romance" album would probably only have been heard of by true "My Chemical Romance" fans. As it was their first realised album it has a slightly more "unpolished" tone when compared to the rest of their albums. As anyone who has listened to "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" and "The Black Parade" will know that each album has its own individual concept. This is My Chemical Romances first album, the album isn't well known and many people are unaware of it's existence. You can immediately tell this is My Chemical Romances first album because although you can faintly hear their style, it hasn't quite yet fully flourished. The album is great because it is so raw and through the album they are trying to find their sound, their music. The songs sound very different to the next. One song will be full of energy and screaming. The next song will be a completely different mixture. I find this album to be quite a special album as to me it represents the journey to the sound, music we know to come from My Chemical ... Read the complete review

In 2002, our five favourite rock superheroes from New Jersey entered the world of punk rock with a BANG! I brought you my bullets, You brought me your love was the fenominal genesis of My Chemical Romance. Although it was only a debut album, it had so much of an impact on the world. So many were intrigued by the story of the man in purgatory who tried to reunite with his lover by making a pact with the devil. This story is continued in their second legendary album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE: *Gerard Way-singer *Frank Iero-rhythm guitarist *Mikey Way-bassist *Ray Toro- lead guitarist *Matt ... Read the complete review
