Advantages: A great introduction

Disadvantages: Some tracks initially off-putting

This, in my opionion, is the best album made by the Aphex Twin. The tracks are diverse, ranging from supremely mellow chillout braindance that even your gran would probably like the sound of, to interesting beatsy oddities, to the downright insane (take Ventolin, for example, a musical representation of asthma). This album takes a few listens before you start to realise its many, many accomplishments, but time spent appreciating it time well spent. This is a perfect introduction to the artist, and an utter essential for any fan.
