Advantages: absoloutley outstanding album

Angels and airwaves(AVA) new album is brilliant not many people like it i think they were expecting something like blink 182 style lyrics as its tom delonge(founder of blink 182 who split a few years back then formed Angels and Airwaves)but i found that its is easier to listen to. yes blink 182 were good and yes i liked them infact i love them but i only liked certain songs and albums but I-Empire i listen to all the songs at least 3 times a day (sad i know). no i have not heard the first album yet and i bet your thinking well whats the point in getting this one first well i heard 'Everythings Magic' on Kerrang! when it come out and liked it so i decided to get this album i will be getting We dont need to whisper and i will be writing a reveiw on it when i get it. but right now lets focus upon I-Empire

1:Call to arms: good song i thought that it has really good lyrics its plainly Angels and Airwaves because of its echoing and the guitar chords that are played i thought it was an awesom song.but the only bad thing about this song is when it starts it takes about a minute for the actuall singing to begin but all together good song

2:Everythngs magic: the most amazing song on this album(apart from lifeline)thelyrics on this songs actually sound as if they are singing to you as it asks questions like do you ever feel alone? do you ever see yourself in love? stuff like that and the questions in that song actually sound like really familiar to how i feel and stuff so thats why i like it so much i guess.

3:Breathe:this song is okay but it does repeat itself its always saying i love you but ive got to admit the beat to this song is good at the start the drummer is tapping on the snare drum its really good.

4:Love like rockets:this song is a really good song once you listen to it a few times at the start you hear a kind of muffled voice that you hear when you send someone up to outer space. when the lyrics start its starts off on the subject of leaving earth but then it changes to be in love with some-one but its saying love like you would if you were an astronaught loving a rocket that sent him into space.

5:Sirens:the first time i heard this song i knew instantly that i loved it the chorus is awesom! me and my mate sing it when we have band practise all the time (along with some other AVA lyrics)thats how much we love it.

6:Secret Crowds:well again another good(amazing)song the lyrics in the song have meaning and the way he(Tom) will go from singing slowly to talkin/singin is good.

7:Star of bethlehem:it doesn't have any lyrics but it is a nice song to listen to actually.you have the drum in the backround and what actaually sounds like loading guns(Tom wanted to based one of his songs on war in his first album i know that from watching the video on youtube.)

8:Truelove: same as a few other songs takes like to minutes to start the lyrics which is kind of annoying but other than that this song is good but not as good as the others.

9:Lifeline:well i have a bit of information on this song,Tom delonge some time last year got hooked on painkillers as they are actually a drug that can only help if you are in pain but tom abused that and got hooked and when his fans found out if they seen him at all they would shout nasty comments and stuff because he was basically killing himself because if you take too many painkillers in one day your insides will slowly dissolve.so as tom got these comments shouted at him in the street he decided enough was enough and stopped obviously it wasnt easy but he did it in the end and he was felt really bad because he upset his fans and obviously his wife and daughter so he sang this song telling people he made a mistake. really really good song

10:jumping rooves:this song doesnt have any lyrics and lasts 44 seconds i honestly dont see the point in this song its rubbish

11:Rite of spring:this is about Tom Delonges life and how his life started and he enjoyed his time in Blink 182 but woulndt go back because its made him who he is today and during the chorus he referes back to the mistake of painkillers in it by saying if i could thank god that im here and that i am alive.Another awesom song!!

12:heavens:im not so sure about this song because it is not one of the best and again takes 1 min 50secs to actually begin the lyrics but during this song he is singin about his life again sort of it like his life with his cildren saying that they are growing up and learning to walk really fast.
And there is the album I-Empire really exellent album kind of personal too when you really think about it, it cant be easy to write lyrics like that and get the sounds to be good to catch peoples attention.the front cover was actualld designed by the man who did the star wars frontcovers and paintings
