angels and airwaves I-Empire
after blink 182 split up tom delonge then formed this band angels and airwaves(AVA for short).
this album is good nothing like blink 182 though tom delonge is more serious this time round.
in blink 182 humour and girls was all they sang about with the odd serious song.. i have to admit they
have only had a few good songs but now its serious and i think AVA will get far.
track listings
call to arms
everythings magic
breathe
love like rockets
sirens
secret crowds
star of bethlehem
true love
lifeline
jumping rooves
rite of spring
heavans
the tempo of these songs are quite slow. they have a good beat and rhythm they really keep it going
amazing lyrics.
the guitars are laden with an echo sound which makes some songs really good.
"sirens" i think that some people are right about this it does have sort of an elctro pop definity
after reading that i listened to it and did find that.
"everythings magic" this song repeats do you and have you ever alot maybe it would be a little better
if there werent so many of those in it.
"secret crowds" probably the best track on this album it has a bit of an echo in it which makes it sound amazing!
"rite of spring" Tom in this song is basically saying if he had another chance to get back
into the blink ways or get back together with them he wouldn't even though he admitted on
an interview in a K! mag he missed them tremendousley.
"love like rockets" this song is good not great but good it does take a while to get into the song but
you only have to wait about 52 seconds for the real beat to begin.
i think we all know this is not blink 182 and some people have to face that fact...
this is completely different to blink 182 and it isnt going to change.
yes this is a bit of a let down to all you blink fans out there.
some people who are blink fans wont even give AVA a chance well you should you
may be surprised.
i do recommend this album to people but those who like
a bit of echo in the music or just generally like serious
alternative rock.
thank you for reading feel free to comment.
Grendalion.
Summary: good but not brilliant
