KRS-1 is undoubtedly one of the dopest emcees ever. But he isn't the best producer, and it shows on this album. My expectations were sky high, but were never fulfilled. His last album, "KRS-ONE", is one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever. With production done by DJ Premier, and several others, it had intelligent and funny lyrics, plus KRS had a flow which couldn't be better. On this album, it all seems to messy, and he relies to much on former fame. The first real song doesn't start until track 3, and the next song is just a bloody mess. For christ's sake. First half of the album includes "Rapture's Delight", "The MC", ...
