I was a bit disappointed to hear that Radiohead were releasing a ‘mini’ live album, not because I don’t like Radiohead live (they’re fantastic live), but because I thought they could maybe release a double live CD of their fantastic live set at South Park, Oxford this summer. Any of you who have a bootlegged copy of this albm will know how good that set is. In the end the band saw fit to release only 8 songs on I Might Be Wrong, all of which come from the Kid A / Amnesiac era, besides the (old) new song, True Love Waits. But more on that little gem later. This album was recorded across the globe at various live shows. Some of the ... Read the complete review

Before we begin, a word of warning to fans of Hear'Say (and other related tendencies): please leave the room now, children. The following article will not interest you in any way whatsoever. It concerns music you may find distressing. It concerns Radiohead. "Hmm...", you may be thinking, "Radiohead? Distressing? So what's new?" - and you'd be right. Thom Yorke & co have never been scared to blast their audiences with weapons-grade bleakness and, post-OK Computer, the band's legions of fans have demonstrated both stamina and loyalty beyond the call of duty in sticking by them through a barking-mad two-album-long metamorphosis, ... THUMBS UP TO RADIOHEAD FOR PRODUCING THIS LIVE EP! When I found out that Radiohead would be releasing a live album, I thought "Brilliant! I shall buy it straight away!". Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that 'I Might Be Wrong' would be an EP rather than an album. Thankfully, it is a great CD. For just £8 you get an 8-track CD featuring live performances from their Kid A / Amnesiac tours. The disc kicks into life with the soaring sound effects of 'The National Anthem' - a great start. The performance is perfect, reflecting Radiohead's great live ability. Radiohead have the ability to take a ... Read the complete review

Radiohead's third release in two years(although not an album proper), is a useful addition for those unfortunate enough to have missed last year's terrific live shows. Contrary to speculation, the tracks, in live form, don't differ too greatly from their studio counterparts, although "Like Spinning Plates'" magnificent piano rebirth is a notable exception. "The National Anthem" buzzes along with a spectacular jazz-funk groove(although Thom Yorke still can't seem to yell the opening lines without going drastically out of tune), and "Everything In Its Right Place", with its spookily amazing intro, proves how such seemingly ...
