Hate Eternal are disappointing considering their apparent status as a death metal super-group, collecting some of the Florida scene's most respected performers. Whatever their earlier albums sounded like, by the time of 2005's 'I, Monarch,' the band has settled into an incredibly repetitive and largely mindless display of speed and intensity over musical direction, and the idea of virtuosity seems to have gone to their heads (perhaps evidenced by the pompous album title). Great mixture of songs, represents "The O.C" but in a totally different way to mix 1, there's a really cute picture of Seth on the cover Songs, which possibly weren't that memorable, made the cut as apposed to songs, which stuck with the viewer, such as Jeff Buckley, Rooney and Aqualung
