 ... humorous track names like Prince Shops at Barwell's or I'm The Thinnest Guy In The Phat Club fail to match their promise. The guy certainly has his own style but I'm not sure if its one that I like, highlights of the album include Rock and Roll is dead (featuring Phil Oakey) which does in fact sound like The Human League at their best, the upbeat 70's style disco track featuring Mungo Jerry on vocals Feels Like I'm in Love, the spacey pigeon street cabaret "Pigeons Carry My News" which is rather catchy. Kings Have Long Arms are the brain child of Salford born Adrian Flanagan, it is generally classed as a Sheffield band though. I Rock Eye Pop is the bands debut album and was released in September 2006 by the Indie label Heart & Soul. Having heard a couple of humorous tracks on Youtube, I thought I'd invest in some KHLA music, unfortunately it didn't match my expectations. Synth pop/electro that doesn't meet my high standards (Kunt & The Gang, Relaxed Muscle), I suppose that there's just not quite enough innovation in the music for me and the humorous track names like Prince Shops at Barwell's or I'm The Thinnest Guy In The Phat Club fail to match their ...  Read the complete review
