Rating:
Way back in 1993, when the wonder stuff released construction for the modern idiot, they were winning accolades from even the strongest, stone headed reviewers. The NME were even running comparisons between them and bands the like of Madness, Squeeze, Slade and the Jam, describing them as "shaping up to be one of Englands greatest bands of the 90's". Then with no warning and with no real reason other than "for the f**k of it" they decided to split. A year later this album was released, mostly through contractual obligations and partly to grab the last bit of cash from those remaining "Stuffies" as they liked to call us. Yes, i agree ...
