Ziemia I Slonce - Ankh
Sometimes successful blending of rock instruments with classical folk violin.
Sometimes not.
With Windmills Turning Wrong Directions - No Comply
Innovative, thought provoking, and exciting.
The band are no longer together so this is the newest material we'll ever hear from them.
The Real Thing: Words And Sounds Vol.3 - Jill Scott
R&B & Soul - Soul - 2007
The Bees Made Honey In The Lions Skull - Earth
Greater blues influence keeps the band moving forward.
Less atmospheric, and tends even more towards repetition.
Resurgence Of Oblivion - Beheaded
Easily enjoyed brutal death metal (if you find that sort of thing easy to enjoy).
Doesn't stand out from the crowd.
Tomorrow Will Never Come - Agalloch
Another nice acoustic song from Don Anderson.
A pointless remix, and a pointlessly obscure release in general.
Atom-Age Vampire in 308 - Balzac
Enjoyable Misfits-style punk, with the band's strongest early material.
Second side is less interesting.
Damien Omen 2 - Soundtrack
A good horror score in fantastic presentation
Too reliant on the first Omen score for much of the time
Street's Disciple - Nas
Hip-Hop & Rap - East Coast - 2004
