I hadn't listened to this album for a couple of years, but listening to it recently was like slipping back into something warm and comfortable. The whole thing stands up as good today as it ever has, and it almost certainly not only BT's best album, but also Sasha's as well (in my opinion, it's a better album than any of the Northern Exposure series, sorry Sasha fans).
I have the album on cassette, so its that format I'll concentrate on, sorry if the CD version is different.
The first side has four original tracks by BT, all of which follow a sublimely beautiful path. Spanish guitars, whale noises and other now-cliched progressive house techniques somehow meld together with more standard dance music sounds like the Roland 303 (used in a unique way here)to create soundscape which is danceable enough to stand up in the more open-minded clubs.
The second side of the tape is made up of a 40 minute DJ mix from Sasha. As you'd expect from him, the mixing and production are flawless. All the track played are BT's productions, with several remixes being showcased.
The best track on the album is easily the anthemic 'Loving You More', of which Sasha effortlessly blends together several different mixes to create a beautiful and impressive soundscape.
Overall, though some production techniques featured on the album are either dated or overused, this stands up well against more modern productions which have used this type of mood.
