Advantages: Lots of classics

The Immaculate Collection was Madonna's first greatest hits compilation and it has sold millions of copies. The album was released in 1990 and the majority of songs on it are brilliant! There were two new songs on this album - Justify My Love and Rescue Me. Justify My Love caused a lot of controversy on it's release because of the X-rated video and sexually suggestive lyrics but it has now become a classic. Most of the songs included in this album have been tinkered with in some way and edited down for time. In my opinion though the version of Like A Prayer on this album is the best version. A lot of Madonna's classic hits were left out of this album but all in all the songs all compliment each other nicely and she has had so many great songs you were not going to be able to get them all on one album. If you want the original unedited versions though I would recommend you buy the singles or original albums, but if you like the songs short and sweet and remixed this is the album for you.
