Advantages: Features loads of her best songs from the 80s

Disadvantages: There are some songs from the perid missing

Madonna, let's face it is the original queen of pop and someone who is a household name around the world. She's sold millions of records and has had countless number one singles across the globe over the last 25 years or so, and is still going strong today.

The Immaculate Collection is a greatest hits compilation of in my opinion some of Madonna's best work to date. It covers the period from 1983 to 1990, featuring loads of tracks we now consider as Madonna classics.

Featured are the likes of Holiday, Like A Prayer, Material Girl, Vogue, Cherish & many more besides. The songs are slightly remixed from the originals, but not so much that it takes anything away from them. In fact I quite like this as it almost freshens them up slightly.

What is nice is the CD features the hits in the order that they were released. However unfortunately not all her hits from this period are featured with the likes of True Blue missing.

This has to be one of my favourite albums of all time, it's a true classic showcasting Madonna at her absolute best. You can't call yourself a Madonna fan if you don't own this.
