In Control - Nemesea

I had never heard of this band before, but thought I'd take a chance and order their album. I was very pleasantly surprised. The album reminds me of rock bands like Lacuna Coil and Evanescense, but it stands up on its own merits, as it is not a complete tribute or rip off of them, although the song "Home", does have a similar sound to the song "Bring me to life" by Evanescence. Manda the lead vocalist has a good strong voice and obviously has a superb vocal range. However, the album is disappointingly very short at only approx. 34 minutes long, but I suppose it gives you chance to listen to the whole album during a lunch break or like.
