Argent were formed in 1968 by ex-Zombie Rod Argent and produced a mix of exciting albums throughout the early part of the 70's. Their style was a mix of pop, prog and rock with many distinct classical styles thrown in the mix for good measure. In fact some of their songs contain several different styles in three minute intervals. The good thing about this album is that it makes 'Prog' accessible, something that quite a number of other prog groups never bothered with preferring to exist on their own in a tiny bubble of their own making.
